Services - New Reviews

  • The Care Center (Equipment) (Page 251)
This has been my favorite place to obtain medical equipment. However, due to a recent experience I would like to add another resource for renting and buying wheelchairs and other needed items.

Liberty Rehab and Patient Aid Center
    65 Stillwater Avenue, Stamford CT
    (203) 327-5250
This nearby helpful resource has prices you will appreciate.

  • EasyGoingHome
    (212) 535-3511
Recently a client hired this relocation consultant and moving coordinator to help her move from her Greenwich home to an apartment in a senior residence. As our client said, they were not inexpensive ( they charge seniors $95 an hour) but they were enormously helpful. They took care of everything, even the selection of the movers, the careful labeling of her items and when she arrived at her new home the pictures were hung and the books were in the same order as before.

This group enhances the daily lives of the 202 residents in our town-owned nursing home and rehabilitation facility.  Volunteers escort residents to all the many recreational activities, as well as physical therapy and the beauty shop.  They also care for the plants in residents' rooms, run the gift shop, and spend one-on-one time with the residents.
